In Michigan, many campuses are requiring mandatory vaccinations and proof of COVID vaccination in order for students to return to campus, especially those living in campus housing. During these unprecidented times, it is difficult to support students right to self-determination and institutional policies. These policies are impacting our students and disproportionally effecting people of color as they may be more resistant to trusting institutions or health care professionals. This video highlights a real life example of how to "coach" our students through mandatory vaccinations.
